"I’ll be calm later. I’ll start meditating tomorrow." Why not now?
We have good intentions.
We mean well.
We make promises to ourselves that sound like self-respect -
but often mask avoidance.
“I’ll slow down next week.”
“I’ll start journaling when things settle.”
“I’ll meditate when I have more time.”
“I’ll be kinder to myself… eventually.”
And so the most important parts of our lives -
the peace, the presence, the depth -
get postponed.
Not denied.
Just delayed.
Which is often the same thing.
So let me ask you, not to provoke, but to reveal:
