We all hold on to something.
A role.
A relationship.
A routine.
A version of ourselves we’ve outgrown.
We call it loyalty.
We call it commitment.
Sometimes we call it love.
But beneath those names,
there’s often something else at work -
something quieter, something harder to admit.
Fear.
Fear of loss.
Fear of uncertainty.
Fear that if we loosen our grip,
we might lose everything…
or even worse - ourselves.
So I ask you, not critically, but tenderly:
